As in previous years, donations for the children's hospice Balthasar in Olpe were again collected as part of the »ies Advent Calendar«. The sum of € 1,125.50 was collected and Ansgar Hein and Laura Kloss handed over the amount to the children's hospice on behalf of all employees and the management of ies. "We thank all the participants who have contributed and allowed this amazing donation" says a very pleased Lisa-Marie Scherer from children's hospice Balthasar.
On a guided tour around the children and youth hospice it became clear how important the donations are for the continued existence of the institution. The hospice is funded 70% by donations, only about 30% come from the contributions of health insurances. "As a south westfalian company we also have a social responsibility for the people in this region," says Ansgar Hein, Head of Business Development and Marketing, adding: "That's why we have been supporting the children's hospice Balthasar for many years with deep conviction."
Martin Steger, Managing Director of ies, thanked all participants in the ies Advent calendar, who donated 50 cents to the children's hospice with each click, adding: "This year we were also supported by partners and customers. I would therefore like to explicitly thank congatec, technosert, speichermarkt.de and GBMP for their significant contribution to this year's fundraising success. "
