Around 150 participants gathered on June 9th at the Osthaus Museum in Hagen in order to find inspiration for successful entrepreneurship within the Business Forum South Westphalia. It was the first event of its kind and convinced right away. This was partly owed to the unusual event location, the setting as well as the interesting personalities on stage. A panel discussion on "Internationalization, digitization, innovation – how do you run your business into a successful future." was put right at the beginning, featuring Martin Steger, CEO of ies. In his view, innovation is about thinking unconventional solutions and he explained how he is living and anchoring this thought process within the company. Professor Ralf Lanwehr (bits, Iserlohn), Andreas Beyer (audalis, Dortmund / Plettenberg) and Ralph Engel (eks Engel, Wenden) also participated in the panel discussion which was conducted by Tamara Olschewski (Editor in Chief, Unternehmerverlag Südwestfalen). Following the event, there was room for discussion and profound conversations between the professionally interested audience and the experts from the stage.
