Cooperation projects for the study of novel Rechnertopologien

Since April 2011 the company ies for the first time does research for completely new multimedia processor architectures, supported and funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, based opon a decision of the German Bundestag.

The results of this work flow in the from 2013 commercially usable high-performance computer system SIMBA, which on the basis of most modern Intel Core ? 2 Quad technology more than 100 computer cores in a 1 ru 19 inch computer system logically linked together.

In particular, the cooperation with the excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) of the University of Bielefeld allows the company ies research and study of technology fields that are currently not used in commercially exploitable projects.
