Embedded Development 2018

Customer specific solutions with Qseven, COM Express and SOM

21. December 2018

We have started numerous interesting projects last year where we have provided advice, developed customer-specific hardware and software, and mass-produced high-quality products for market-leading companies.

With well over 100 successfully developed customer-specific boards and systems, iesy is one of the most successful system houses for embedded computing in the German-speaking market. Our embedded developments cover all services around hardware, software and mechanics – or to put it simple: We help customers all the way from their idea to a finished product. All services and communication follow a very simple principle, which Managing Director Martin Steger summarizes in one sentence: „Projects become very simple for our customers. That's iesy.“ A fact that becomes visible in numerous projects throughout 2018, where full-custom designs, embedded NUC and COM Express design-ins were particulary populoar. In addition, solutions based on Qseven and i.MX6 or i.MX7 were developed, often using System on Modules (SOM) to keep the solutions future-proof and scalable.

Positive development in the embedded market

With our embedded solutions and our electronic engineering expertise, we ensure that our customers' products and projects are realized each and every day. We ensure that existing machines in brownfield environments become intelligent by means of retrofitting so that data can be generated or gets sent to the cloud. Our extensive range of services is appreciated and used by companies from all industries, whether it is communication technology, circuit design, PCB layout or the development of suitable firmware and drivers – we take you all the way from initial consultation to series-production and beyond. We are always right by your side with competent support when things don't go as planned. This is one of the reasons why numerous customers develop and produce their products together with us over several product life cycles. Market-leading companies from various industries have placed new, exciting projects with us throughout 2018. Our development as a company is closely linked to growth in the embedded market. Trends such as Internet of Things, Retrofitting, Industry 4.0 and Digitization contribute to this at a particularly high degree. We took the right steps early on and now have qualified employees, modern software and hardware building blocks and the right partners to implement full-stack solutions for your software and hardware project together with you.
