The new embedded motherboard pITX-E38 is based on the ultra compact 100 mm x 72 mm Pico-ITX form factor and is characterized by high graphics and processor performance with low power consumption. The Global Sales Partner Meeting of Kontron is one of the annual highlights in the ies event calendar. Every year a selection of international design and sales partners from Kontron meet for three days, this year in Germanys highest mountain village Oberjoch.

Only ten month after the public invitation to tender the company ies recieved the order from the DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (german air-traffic control) for development and mass production of the new position logging system (PoLo). The position logging system  is a fully configurable tool to record working times and airspace responsibilities of air traffic controllers electronically.

The company ies exhibited at the embedded world - the world's largest trade fair of its kind - in Nuremberg for the 5th time and exhibited at booth 1-570 on an exposed position - right between the entrance of hall 1 & 2.
