Visit our new seminar series in the area of embedded computing. It is aimed at anyone who wants to get to know iesy better or learn more about the topic of embedded computing. Our format is variable and is based on your needs and challenges.

On 16 May 2021, iesy will be 55 years old. On that day 55 years ago, the Mr. Friedhelm Schmitz and his wife Charlotte founded the company "Electronik Schmitz KG" in Kierspe. At that time, the founders were supported by Ludwig Valder for planning, development and sales and Hans-Jürgen Mähnert for the technical background.

Our customers quickly recognized that the soldering modules show their economic advantage, especially with higher quantities, when we presented our BeagleCore ™ 5 years ago. With its small size of just 48 x 31 mm, it is predestined for use in industrial and professional applications.

Since the beginning of this year we have noticed significantly increased delivery times for the procurement of electronic parts. Several suppliers of electronic components recently increased the standard delivery times for individual A-components without prior announcement, in some case more than 12 months.

As part of a research project funded by the BMBF, we succeeded in developing a quad server solution based on the COM Express standard Type 7. The server-based 19-inch/4 RU solution enables users to operate particularly high-performance applications with a high packing density.Possible markets for this application include telecommunications, Industry 4.0 or IT security.
