Designed for industrial use and strong in graphics, the thin Mini-ITX motherboard of the congatec conga-IA4 series is equipped with14 nm Intel® Pentium® and Celeron® processors (code name Braswell) and comes with comprehensive support for Windows 10. The Mini-ITX board provides enhanced computing and graphics performance and now supports up to three 4k displays.

Despite enhanced performance, heat output could be reduced to a max. of 3 watts SDP (Scenario Design Power), allowing for highly energy-efficient, fanless system designs. Since thin Mini-ITX motherboards have a height of only 20 mm, very flat systems can be designed and the boards can even be integrated in ultra-slim panel PCs.

The thin Mini-ITX motherboards specifically designed for industrial use can be deployed wherever conventional motherboards fail to provide sufficient ruggedness, interference resistance, 24/7 operation, or long-term availability. The board is targeted at the following applications: cash register systems, scales and vending machines, gaming and digital signage applications as well as industrial HMIs, panel PCs and thin clients in production, logistics and healthcare. The conga-IA4 thin Mini-ITX boards are equipped with 14 nm Intel® Pentium® and Celeron® processors with 3 to 4 watts SDP (Scenario Design Power) or 4 to 6 watts TDP (Thermal Design Power) plus up to 16 GB dual channel DDR3L 1600 RAM. The integrated 8th generation Intel graphics card enables high-quality imaging with up to 3x 4k resolution (3840 x 2160) including the very latest 3D features such as DirectX11.1 and OpenGL 4.2. The integrated video engine decodes H.265/HEVC compressed video, is jitter-free and provides maximum load reduction on CPU. It encodes two 60 Hz 1080p H.264 video streams in real time.

The comprehensive offer of interfaces includes one PCIe x1 slot, two mini PCIe slots, and 4x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 for customer-specific extensions. Up to two MIPI CSI-2 cameras can be directly connected via the feature connector. Also supported: 2 gigabit ethernet, 1x mSATA 3.0, 1x SATA 3.0, 2x UART plus 8 GPIO and HD audio. OS support is granted for Linux and all common Microsoft Windows versions - including Microsoft Windows 10. Comprehensive equipment to facilitate Design-In, such as cooling solutions, I/O shields and cable sets complements this offer.
