The integrated AMD Radeon™ graphics core of the conga IGX Mini-ITX system manufactured by congatec supports the universal video decoder 4.2 for fast processing of Blu­Ray videos with HDCP (1080p), MPEG-2, HD and Di­vX (MPEG-4). It also supports DirectX® 11.1 and OpenGL 4.0 for fast image rendering in 2D and 3D as well as OpenCL 1.1.

Interfaces include single/dual channel 18/24 bit LVDS as well as DisplayPort 1.2 and DVI/HDMI 1.4a, through which two displays can be controlled independently of each other. Display Port 1.2 supports ATI Eyefinity multi display technology for panoramic images and multi streaming. Up to two displays per graphics port can be controlled through the daisy-chaining mode.

Low power consumption of the SOCs allows for fanless designs. These systems are not only very quiet but also provide high reliability since mechanical components such as fans are made obsolete. Sophisticated power management makes operation highly effective even if waiting times should occur. Due to the availability of CPU C6 (“Deep Power Down”) in the multimedia engine, power consumption can be reduced even further without compromising on user friendliness. This is because the computer needs less than one millisecond to switch from energy-saving mode to full performance.

Following connections are on board: 1x PCIe x4 connection, mini PCI express and dual GbE LAN, 2x serial ATA III, 1x mSATA (SATA III) socket support, 7x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0, 8 Bit GPIO, 3 serial ports and 1 parallel port. This allows for flexible system extensions with high data bandwidth. 12V/19-24V DC power supply, ACPI 3.0 power management and high definition audio complete this offer.
