Pico-ITX board by congatec

The congatec conga-PA5 in Pico-ITX form factor is a long-term available board with particularly energy-efficient Intel® Atom™ processors (E3930, E3940, E3950), or alternatively more powerful low-power dual core Intel® Celeron® N3350 or quad core Intel® Pentium® N4200 processors.

Description

The conga-PA5 Pico-ITX SBCs motherboard also offers impressive new safety features, enhanced real-time operation plus the option of keeping the systems embedded in IoT devices synchronized. This is particularly important for networked applications such as video surveillance, camera-based robotics, industry 4.0 machines, traffic control and smart energy networks, or various interlinked computing nodes on ships, planes, trains, or vehicles. The board also returns to the extended temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. This means that legacy designs using Bay Trail processors can now switch to more powerful processor cores with significantly enhanced feature set.

The Pico-ITX board includes powerful 9th generation Intel graphics with up to 18 execution units and supports up to three independent high resolution 4k displays via 2x DP++ with 4k@60Hz plus dual channel LVDS. The conga-PA5 module provides 8 GB LPDDR4 on-board RAM with up to 2,400 MT/s. For IoT connectivity and generic extensions, 2x gigabit ethernet, 1x mPCIe, 3x USB 3.0 and up to 3x USB 2.0 ports are available. Further peripheral devices can be connected via two serial interfaces (RS232/RS422/RS485) and 8 GPIOs. Also, two MIPI CSI camera inputs are available. Storage media can be integrated via 2x 3rd generation SATA with 6 Gbps plus one micro SD slot. HDA is available for audio signals. Safety-critical applications benefit from TPM 2.0.

The Pico-ITX single board computer supports Windows 10 as well as all Windows 10 IoT versions, Windriver VxWorks, Android and all common Linux versions. In order to simplify Design-In of the new embedded boards, congatec now offers comprehensive equipment such as optimized cooling solutions, I/O panels, and cablet sets.
