The conga-B7XD server-on-module according to COM Express basic type 7 specification is headless. From Intel® Pentium® to Intel® Xeon® D 1577 with 16 cores and 2x 10 gigabit ethernet and 32x PCI express lanes, it provides high network and server performance and comes in a small size.
The conga-B7XD server-on-modules are available in different processor versions: From 16 core Intel® Xeon® D1577 processor to Intel® Pentium® D1519 processor for the extended industrial temperature range (-40 °C to +85 °C). They offer up to 48 GB 2400 DDR4 RAM which can be equipped with or without error correction (ECC), depending on the customer requirement.
The key feature of the new congatec COM Express type 7 module is its high network performance with 2x 10 gigabit ethernet. Additionally, a baseboard management controller (BMC) for out-of-band remote management can be connected via NC-SI network controller sideband signals. Powerful system extensions incl. flash memory can also be connected via up to 24 3rd generation PCI express lanes and 8x 2nd generation PCIe lanes. Conventional memory media can be connected via 2x SATA 6G. Further I/O interfaces such as 4x USB 3.0, 4x USB 2.0, LPC, SPI, I2C bus and 2x UART are also supported.
OS support is granted for all common Linux distributions and Microsoft Windows versions - including Microsoft Windows 10 IoT.
