The conga-TCA5 COM Express compact modules are real-time enabled and come equipped with energy-efficient Intel® Atom™ processors (E3930, E3940 and E3950) for the extended temperature range, or with low-power dual core Intel® Celeron® N3350 and quad core Intel® Pentium® N4200 processors.
Highlight of the industry-proof module versions featuring Intel® Atom™ processors is the cooling interface, located directly on the processors themselves. That means that no additional copper heat stack is required, which makes implementation and heat dissipation much easier. All modules feature powerful 9th generation Intel graphics with up to 18 execution units plus encryption and decryption functionality for 4K HEVC4, H.264, VP8, SVC and MVC.
The new conga-TCA5 not only supports up to 8 Gbyte low-voltage SODIMM memory but also 4k resolution on up to three displays that can be connected via dual channel LVDS, eDP, DP 1.2 and/or HDMI 1.4. 4 PCIe 2.0 lanes, one GbE interface and 6 USB ports are available for IoT connectivity and generic extensions, three of which are USB 3.0 and one is a host and client enabled USB OTG interface. Further peripheral devices can be connected via 2x SPI, 1x LPC and 2x serial UART interfaces. Also, two MIPI CSI camera inputs are available. Storage media can be integrated through up to 64 GByte flash memory with fast eMMC 5.1 connectivity, or through 2x6 6 Gbps SATA and 1x SDIO. HDA is available for audio signals. TPM 2.0, available optionally, complement the set of features for the COM Express compact modules.
