The COM Express basic type 6 conga-TS97 module is equipped with quad core Intel® Core™ or Xeon® processors and offers 6 MB L2 cache at 47 watts TDP. It supports Intel® Core™ i7-5700EQ, Core™ i7-5850EQ and Intel® Xeon® E3-1258L v4 and E3-1278L v4 processors.
23 GB DDR3L memory is on a par with server functionality and ideally suited for data-intense applications. These new modules support AVX 2.0, SSE 4.2 and OpenCL 2.0, which is why highly parallel tasks can be processed in the quickest and most efficient manner.
Integrated 8th generation Intel® 8 HD graphics is scalable up to Intel® Iris™ Pro P6300 with 48 execution units. This allows for 60 Hz operation of up to three independent 4k displays (3,840 x 1,260) via HDMI 1.4, DVI and DisplayPort 1.2. In addition, a dual channel LVDS output is provided. DirectX11.2 and OpenGL 4.3. enable high-quality imaging including the very latest 3D features. By providing real-time H265, H264, MPEG2 and VC1 video streams, the integrated video transcoder reduces the CPU load.
The following I/O interfaces are supported: PCI express graphics, seven 2nd generation PCI express lanes, 4x USB 3.0, 8x USB 2.0, LPC and I²C. Mass storage like SSD, HDD and BluRay can be connected via 4x SATA 3.0 including RAID 0/1/5/10 support. Featuring Intel® AMT 9.1 and congatec board management controller including watch dog timer and power loss control, these modules are well equipped for remote monitoring, management and maintenance, even for out-of-band management - something that should be taken for granted in every embedded server in the era of the Internet of Things. The conga-TS97 modules support all common Linux and Microsoft operating systems. Also, all modules are prepared for Microsoft Windows 10.
