The Qseven small form factor conga-QA6 module comes equipped with the new Intel® Atom(TM) processor series and the Intel® EG20T platform controller hub for the industrial temperature range. All components of this design have specifications for environmental temperatures between -40 to +85°C.
Deliberately abstaining from legacy interfaces such as EIDE and PCI, the Qseven conga-QA6 module provides fast, differential interfaces like PCI Express and SATA. More specifically, it provides 6x USB 2.0, 2x SATA, 1x SDIO, 3x PCIe, LPC bus, I²C bus, gigabit ethernet, high definition audio and - very recently - also CAN bus. Optionally available: robust mass storage of up to 32 GByte on-board flash memory via SATA interface. Thanks to the flexible SDIO interface SD cards may be used for affordable and robust mass storage. Featuring 8 bit data bandwidth, the module allows for the use of MMC 4.0 cards with data transfer rates of up to 52 MBytes. Beyond storage media, cards with functionalities such as WLAN, bluetooth, RFID and many more also support SDIO standard.
The conga-QA6 module with the Intel® Atom™ E6xx processor is available in 600 MHz, 1.0 GHz, 1.3 GHz and 1.6 GHz with 512k L2 cache. It can access up to 2 GByte on-board DDR2 memory. Access to RAM, sound and graphics are all integrated in the processor, reflecting the new Intel® architecture. Using up to 256 MByte frame buffer, the performance of the new, integrated 3D-enablged graphics engine has been enhanced by 50%. Graphics support DirectX 9.0E and OpenGL 2.0 while video applications are accelerated through MPEG2 and MPEG4 hardware decoding. Graphics output is granted either through 1x24 bit LVDS channel or SDVO port. The conga-QA6 module works with the „DisplayID“ VESA standard for automatic recognition of any flat displays connected.
