Based on AMD Fusion technology, the Qseven conga-QAF module for the first time combines low power consumption with dual core computing and high graphics performance in the smallest form factor. This makes the Qseven module ideally suited for mobile, cost-sensitive applications for visualization and control.
conga-QAF is available in the following processor versions: AMD G series G-T40E 1.0 GHz dual core (6.4 W) and AMD G series G-T40R 1.0 GHz single core (5.5W) with up to 4 GByte affordable on-board DDR3 memory. The integrated graphics core with universal video decoder 3.0 for smooth processing of BluRays with HDCP (1080p), MPEG-2, HD and DivX (MPEG-4) videos supports DirectX® 11 and OpenGL 4.0 for instant 2D and 3D imaging and OpenCL 1.1. It supports LVDS and DisplayPort or HDMI for graphics interfaces. The AMD G series graphics may also be used for high computing operations that can be run in parallel, which would otherwise be processed by the processor. In order to enable non-graphics related standard operations to be processed easily and smoothly, the module provides OpenCL support.
Presenting a small size of just 70 x 70 mm, the conga-QAF Qseven module uses AMD Hudson-E1 fusion controller hub combined with a G series processor. This presents a powerful, compact 2 chip solution with a comprehensive set of features. Also available: differential interfaces like PCI Express and SATA. More specifically, it provides 8x USB 2.0, 2x SATA 3.0, 1x SDIO, 4x PCIe 2.0, LPC bus, I²C bus, gigabit ethernet, and high definition audio.
