For the 19th time, leading german industry magazine Elektronik awarded the smartest and most innovative products in electronics. A total of 111 products were nominated as "Product of the Year 2017" across the following 11 categories: Active Components, Passive Components, Electromechanics, Optoelectronics, Sensors etc. 

On Tuesday, March 28th, the CDU parliamentary candidate Ralf Schwarzkopf was accompanied by some members of the native CDU local council to visit iesy. Martin Steger, managing director of iesy, informed the visitors about the systems supplier for embedded computing.

iesy received two nominations in the first quarter of 2017. On the one hand, the BeagleCore Maker Pro module was nominated as one of the best 100 products in the field of electrical engineering. The german trade journal "Elektronik" honors  pioneering products throughout eleven categories every year.

This year again iesy was able to collect numerous donations for the children's and young adults' hospice Balthasar in Olpe in the course of the »iesy advent calendar«. On behalf of all employees and the management of iesy, Ansgar Hein and Michelle Galensa now handed over the donation amount of 1,052 Euros.
