In addition to the standard tests according to IEC/CEN (International Electrotechnical Commission / European Committee for Standardization) iesy also provides certification services for the North American market according to CSA/UL (Canadian Certification Association/Underwriter Laboratories).

Due to the high and partly non-harmonized requirements for these products, the efforts to achieve these certificates are partly much more extensive and require a continuous, quarterly certification of the production sites, without any prior notice by the certifying authority. We are already engaged in this subject since 2015. Therefore, it will be interesting to see which new products will find their way from Meinerzhagen to North America in future.
