Thin Mini-ITX board by congatec

The Mini-ITX conga-IC87 system manufactured by congatec features Core i series processors which support AES-NI for hardware encryption and AVX2-accelerated vector multiplication. Additionally, the i5 and i7 processors support Turbo Boost 2 to raise frequency, AMT 9.5 management functionality as well as what is called Trusted Execution Technology (TXT).

Description

While 7th generation Intel HD graphics installed in Celeron only support standard functionality, the more powerful graphics engine HD4400 (i3, i5) or HD5000 (i7) allows for more sophisticated graphics processing of up to 1000 (Celeron, i3) or 1100 MHz frequency (i5, i7). They support up to three independent displays with a resolution of up to 3840 × 2160 pixels at 60 Hz with DisplayPort and 4096 x 2304 at 24 Hz; alternatively 1920 × 1200 pixels at 60 Hz via HDMI, or full 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels with the Core i series. The hardware supports or directly accelerates DirectX 11.1, OpenGL 3.2, OpenCL 1.2. It also offers highly powerful, flexible hardware decoding for parallel decoding of multiple high-resolution full HD videos. Two DisplayPort (DP++) connections are located at the back of the board; complying with thin Mini-ITX specifications, a “DISP” connector allows for the connection of another DisplayPort (eDP) and 2 × 24 Bit LVDS.

The two SODIMM sockets can be equipped with a total of 16 GB SODIMM DDR3L memory. Four USB 3.0 connections (downward compatible with USB 2.0) are fastened directly onto the I/o shield; a further four USB 2.0 ports are available via internal plug connectors. A total of two 5 Gb/s PCI express 2.0 lanes can be used as 2x PCIe full size (shared with PCIe × 1 and mSATA) and 1x PCIe × 1 (shared with mSATA/mPCIe). Four SATA interfaces with up to 6 Gb/s (one of which can be used as mSATA) plus one mini PCIe slot and SIM card slot allow for instant and flexible system extension. The two gigabit/s ethernet controllers Intel i218LM and i211AT provide gigabit ethernet LAN access each via two RJ45 sockets. ACPI 5.0, I2C bus and LPC bus allow for easy integration of legacy I/O interfaces. The optional safety module (TPM), real-time clock (RTC) and Intel high definition audio plus universal 12 to 24 volts power supply complete this offer.
